Our Doctors
Dr. Hesam Tehrani
Dr. Hesam Tehrani completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. Following graduation, he decided to continue his education at the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Dentistry. He was amongst a few who obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with Distinction. After obtaining his DDS degree, Dr. Hesam practiced in Ontario for a few years as a general practitioner. It was during these years that he realized the pivotal role that periodontal tissues play in the overall health and maintenance of the oral cavity. This led him to specialize in the field of Periodontology at the University of Alberta. This intensive 3-year program trained him to become an expert in diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases as well as advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Hesam is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Hesam has had the pleasure of living and providing care in London, Pembroke, Barrie, Edmonton, Calgary, and Red Deer. He is now back to his hometown, Toronto again and excited to be able to care for his hometown population.

Fun Facts:
During his free time, Dr. Tehrani enjoys working out at the local gym or dojo practicing karate as a black belt!
He is also taking aviation classes to be able to obtain his private pilot license in the near future!
He enjoys the outdoors and loves to travel with family and friends.

Dr. Ali Tehrani
Following the footsteps of his older brother, Dr. Ali also studied Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. He was amongst only a few candidates who was granted early acceptance to dental school due to high academic achievements. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ali received the Joseph Harker Johnson Scholarship Award for the most outstanding student in Clinical Oral Surgery and Anesthesia.
After graduation from dental school, Dr. Ali followed his passion and aptitude towards surgery, and was accepted into the prestigious, McGill Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Internship program. A competitive program which accepts only 1 candidate each year. In addition to oral surgical procedures, he also received training in facial trauma such as dentoalveolar emergencies and facial lacerations and management of complications.
Following his passion for surgery, Dr. Ali soley focuses on dentoalveolar surgical procedures such as, wisdom teeth removal, implant placement, sinus lift and bone graft procedures.
His passion for his work carries over into his chairside manner. He ensures all his patients are comfortable throughout these procedures. This has given him the opportunity to work in numerous offices throughout the GTA. Therefore, as a general practitioner, Dr. Ali not only provides surgical care for his patients at True North Dentistry but in multiple different clinics throughout the GTA.
Dr. Ali is currently a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA).
Fun Facts:
Outside dentistry, Dr. Ali enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, cooking, playing the piano, and competing in semi-professional Go-Karting. He also has an immense passion towards Formula 1 and cars, so if you’re also a fan be sure to let him know!
